A THOUSAND SACRED HEARTS 

In the cool desert sky, hours before sunrise
As the wind winds her fingers through your hair
And the stars burn aqua-twilight
They’re making music, and magic, out there.

And somewhere between sleep and fascination,
You’re on a journey, life’s changing and you’re aware,
Of Nature’s work of art, she’s re-arranging,
The mystery you once we’re, now you’re not there.

And as a halo rises from the ashes,
Moonbeams and stardust giving way,
To pink flamingoes blowing crimson kisses,
Who with a grin, wink and nod your way,

As if to say your pain had hardly gone unnoticed,
Too weak to stand they stood your stead, how true.
Midst fiery golden altars beckon onward,
A thousand sacred hearts, in love ..with You.
