I’m an outdoorsman and photographer, and have studied light, story and design my entire life.

As a kid in the sixties I spent sunburnt twilights wandering the shores of Lake Shasta, squeezing off Kodachrome

with the family Kodak as bats performed perfect evening aerials overhead.

In the seventies, I became a Navy Diver, Recon Ranger and Marine Recon Battalion photographer.

I honed my photography in the field, often under extreme conditions.
